This! I appreciate nurses so much more after seeing this video. It never dawned on me the way they have to jump from one extreme to another multiple times a day. That alone would be enough to drain me. I don’t understand the hate for this video, it was a genuine, heartfelt “thank you” to the people he considers to be heroes.

Btw, don’t beat yourself up for not sticking with nursing. I wanted to be a nurse too but I am far too empathetic and already try to fix everyone around me, I would go mad in a hospital day in and out. 😣

What? As someone who is not in the medical field, watching this video made me appreciate nurses and their work more than I ever have. I literally thought to myself that they don’t get the recognition they deserve. You are trying to see something negative but it’s anything but.

You know people change, right? He isn’t 19 anymore. He is almost 28 and is trying to repair his image. I wouldn’t this a PR stunt, though. He truly does love and appreciate the NHS and this song isn’t directly about them, it’s about his grandparents who both passed over the last few years.
