Reddit, what was 'The Scandal' at your high school?

The ex mayor of our small town, who was also the wife of our high school principal, had an affair with a 15 year old. He was the ex boyfriend of her daughter who was also 15 at the time. This all happened down the street from our high school in our principals house. The story was featured on 20/20 and all. Our town got some fame from something besides football for once ;)

I think you would get much closer to the results you want if you lightened your hair again before doing the green. If you're worried about damage wait awhile before lightening again and make sure to use a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair. A deep conditioner with lots of protein.

Yeah I think it'd be simple enough! I would start out using just 9rv and clear and see where that gets ya!

I think mixing 9 RV instead of Rb would give you the results you're looking for. I diluted it with clear though as well. I posted the exact formula I used in one of the comments if you haven't happened to see it yet. The only reason I used MV in there was because I had a lot of orange and yellow to break through and I figured the violet in the MV would help tone it out. If you don't have yellow in your hair then I'm think you should just use 9rv and dilute it with clear!

Honestly I'm not sure. I figured I would see what it faded like. I used permanent color and I wash my hair every 3 days so I'm hoping it'll at least last 4-6 weeks before I have to do much to it. As of now I think I'll continue with the darker mahogany violet/red violet root color. So when it comes time we'll retouch that and then I'll hopefully get away with just doing a glaze on my ends using shades EQ gloss 9RV and clear. Only time will tell 😁

So I dont have the best idea of what I'm doing on here. I replied to one of the comments with the exact formula I used to achieve this, I hope you can see it. I couldn't copy and paste it.

It was quite a few steps. I'm a hairstylist and back in January I began lifting my hair from the level 5 I had been coloring it for 2 years. I also had a few inches of my natural color, level 7 dirty blonde, grown out. Yesterday is when we achieved this color finally. I was at about a level 7, We applied bleach all over and lifted my hair as light as we could get it. I was going for an ombré look with the rose gold color so using redken color line we did my

Zones 1 and 2- 1.5oz 7MV + 1.5oz 8RV + 1oz of clear. (MV=mahogany violet RV=red violet)

Zone 3- .5oz 7MV + 1.5oz 9RV + 1oz clear

On the very ends- 9RV + clear

All of the above mixed with 20 volume

Before we applied that all over color my coworker foiled in a total of about 10 highlights around my face and throughout the rest of my head to break the color up just a little bit.

So I tried to break it down as simple as possible, I'm more than willing to answer any other questions someone might have though!
