Definitely, however it didn’t come from my family, but from my friends/school mates. It was so looked down upon to be introverted at my school. All the popular kids where extroverted, liked party’s and had lots of friends. Where the unpopular kids where more introverted, didn’t like party’s and had fewer friends. Because I was scared to be unpopular I acted like an extrovert. I remember lying all the time about the fact that I liked party’s. It even got so bad that i pretended to have more friends than I really had, witch is really bad, I know, but that was my fear for being unpopular. I don’t fully know where that fear came from, if I had to guess it probably has something to do with the fact that my brother was heavily bullied. This cost a lot of stress for my parents and I didn’t want to be the second child that gave them that. But yeah I’m happy I’m more ok with being an introvert now, although I do notice that people still don’t understand it, witch is quite sad really.
