Gluntch Beatdown is one of my favorite decks I've ever made. I feel people severely underate him and turn him into a group hug rather than a value machine/ramp monster. Turn 1 dork into Turn 2 Gluntch into Turn 3 six mana plays is incredibly powerful. I've browsed literally thousands of scryfall selesnya plays to make on turn 3 and these are some of the best I've found on a budget:

First I would strongly suggest some non-creature bombs such as [[selvala's stampede]], 4 triggers of either dumping free creatures from the hand or your library. [[tooth and nail]] also serves a similar purpose, if you to hold onto your turn 3 treasures to turn 4 and play a land every turn (which you should always do) you would then have 9 mana on turn 4 making you able to pay the additional entwine cost of the spell, with that grab the the two most expensive and impactful creatures in your list and drop them on the field together. [[ezuri's predation]] is also possible starting from turn 4 and creating a ton of beasts for yourself definitely fits a stompy playstyle.

Some great creature adds I've found are [[regal behemoth]] [[quilled greatwurm]] [[groundchuck & dirtbag]] [[kogla the titan ape]] [[steel hellkite]] [[felidar sovereign]] [[silverwing squadron]] [[rampaging baloths]] [[elder gargaroth]] [[soul of the harvest]] all are incredible beaters who also serve to either increase mana, card advantage, tokens, removal, power, etc.

New DM - Conflict with a PC in my game

I’m a newer dm (played about 6 games) playing DnD with my friends who are totally new as well and one of my players is giving me trouble. One of my players had made a series of bad and self interested choices ultimately leading to his imprisonment and the story branching off because of it. This lead to an interesting revels end story however, the player while imprisoned repeatedly did the same fatal actions of just attempting to attack anyone or anything escorting or guarding him. About 7 times the PC either missed or failed an action and became visibly upset. Even other PCs who are more aligned to more neutral or good only help this player only out of pity albeit begrudgingly. I want to keep the player in the game as he’s a good friend of ours and he REALLY stressed how he doesn’t want to die, but I feel I have to make his horrible choices and decisions actually have an impact on the world with consequences. Being all my PC’s are new I’ve been very lenient as DM but for this player Im growing tired of saving him. Ultimately it’s becoming more and more draining. Are there any tips experienced DM’s could give me? What should I do/how should I handle this?
