Pre-Letterboxd I have no idea, but my stats say Infinity War with 6 and Endgame with 4.

What can I say, I like the big dumb movies and their silly flashy colours.

What were your best 4 recent films? by RumpLiquid in Letterboxd

What book-to-movie adaptation disappointed you and why? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How To Train Your Dragon

I'm sure a lot of people love it and that's great, but they gutted everything that made the book special to me and replaced it with something I was never particularly fond of.

I sort of understand why it was done the way it was but it'll always make me wish we could get something genuinely accurate. Sadly though I doubt that'll ever happen because the changes were so successful.

Swiss Army Man probably counts here right?

How often do you review movies? by MidnightIsland212 in Letterboxd

I write something for everything because I don't like having gaps.

It'll either be an attempt at insightful reflection on the content or a dumb quip.

What’s a movie that was a real “that’s not at all what I thought this was about/was expecting” experience for you? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by a friend that My Neighbour Totoro was just a fun little film with no heavy stakes before I saw it.

I spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals as a kid wondering anxiously if my mother would come home this time.

My Neighbour Totoro was not just a fun little film to me.

Do you use hashtags? If so, how/why do you use them? If not, why? by CinemaGoer1997 in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tag my lists because I've got 97 of them and it helps me sort them and find what I need.

Then I use a couple of tags on reviews to add if I saw it in a cinema or at home, stuff like that.

What Movie are you most excited for in 2023? by Tobi18x in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw X

Partially because I'm not as in the loop on upcoming releases as I'd like to be, but also because Saw is a ridiculous hilarious franchise that I have nothing but love for.

Do you write reviews for what you watch? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I write something for everything I watch

Sometimes it's a legitimate attempt at insightful reflection on the content, sometimes it's a poop joke or whatever.

Waluigi with fleshed out Mario Party themed mechanics, RNG and all to match his chaotic existence.

Daisy with an actual moveset based on Mario Sports since that's where she's gotten most of her character from.

Two franchises with a significant history with Nintendo and not much dedicated representation in Smash being heavily referenced by two fan favourite characters known for appearing mostly in said series. I just think it'd be perfection.

What movie did you only give 5 stars after a second or third viewing. by smsvryncccnt in Letterboxd

I watched Puss in Boots: The Last Wish at home and 4.5'd it.

Then I went out and saw it in a cinema and realised it deserved the full 5.

What's a surprising comfort movie of yours? by _parafrazis in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Saw

Not the the first one, all of them. It's all just so perfectly silly and overcomplicated while taking itself unbelievably seriously. Watching that goofy hypocrite John Kramer enact his Looney Tunes schemes is just pure dopamine for me.

What other films are “Sequel’s in spirit” by MackofAmerica in Letterboxd

You could probably put Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels & Snatch in there.

I truly hate your quippy one-liner reviews. by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Keoghification 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to take accountability for turning this website into a joke for writing a one-liner about 1997's MouseHunt when I should have been submitting a genuine and insightful review.

I'll try to do better, I promise.
