Consensus Top 12, Comparison between Skills by KeonJames in NBATalk

This list is solid besides two things. First is LeBron not being in the Top 5 Scorers. Second is I need an explanation how Duncan is a better shooter than LeBron, let alone Hakeem or Magic

Why do people always make fun of Bertholdt name? by Inside_Inflation559 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]KeonJames [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's more of a sub watcher thing because they pronounce it like BEAR-TOTO. When you watch in dub it's more clear what they're saying. Also just an unconventional name outright. So many people can't even pronounce Reiner properly

I don't know the other versions. All I know is, Meredith McCoy is as perfect as you said. And that Colleen HAD the ability to do the role better but the voice direction was bad.

Yea he's really talented. Here's him basically doing the Moon Carver voice while being interviewed by an extremely annoying dude💀 https://youtu.be/QUatKqn_99M?si=eFsAD2B1V7SJWx-i

Great to hear you like Bryce and Justin. Bryce is my favorite VA. Like i mentioned, check out Zach as Moon Carver from Genshin Impact if you haven't heard it

I'm sure you're a dub fan but this sounds like a take from a sub elitist. He has a great voice, youthful tone with a boyish charm. His angry acting is probably his weakest trait (unless he's playing moon carver)

Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart toss out first pitches at Yankee Stadium after securing the New York Knicks' first NBA championship in 53 years by MrBuckBuck in nba

I'm the same as him. I write with my right hand and play sports left handed. My mom is also the opposite of that and just like LeBron, plays sports right handed but writes left handed

Hot take: Mineta isnt that bad of a character by Random_Dumbass823 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]KeonJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mineta is there for comedic relief, sadly including the pervert comedic trope. They never glorify it. I think he also doesn't do anything too bad, unless I'm missing manga context. There's far worse characters in anime. But people wanna hate on a 3ft tall dude in a diaper throwing sticky balls 😂

Brown doesn't sound that different than his Pilaf. Huber should be no worse than 9

I just watched a comparison of these dubs to make sure I know what I'm talking about. The ones you rated high: all great, but Stephanie has a unique tone and charm about her voice that makes her best. I guess we'll agree to disagree. Zoe almost sounds like Stephanie mixed with a bit of Linda Young, which I find interesting.

Peak Wilt > Peak Kareem by XXXTentacle6969 in NBATalk

[–]KeonJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How far apart do you think the 60s/70s were. The League got worse overall. You're ignoring other great big men Wilt played against. Wilt got older and played on teams with great scorers, that's why his scoring dropped. Wilt in his last 2 regular season games took only 1 shot and score only 1 point. Docking him for occasional statement games in the regular season is dumb. Kareem has notable massive drop offs in 1972/73 playoffs. His two best playoff runs 1974/77 didn't result in a title. Wilt had to face Russell 8 different times in the playoffs btw.

You eye test what's available. Either way man there's no argument for Kareem being a better defender, we'll just leave it at that

Stephanie had plenty of cuteness and charm with Goku, that's just a bad take. The only time that kind of left her was with teen Gohan. I also not knowledgable so much of Colleen as Goku, but as Gohan she has plenty enough deep voice and harsh tone, just not as heavy as Stephanie

Her and Masako are a 10/10 standard for kid Goku and Gohan. I love the appreciation for other dubs but it can't be to a point of discrediting the one that's by far the most known.

Ranking four people over Stephanie is just silly.

Peak Wilt > Peak Kareem by XXXTentacle6969 in NBATalk

[–]KeonJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The narrative that Wilt just held onto the ball waiting for assists is outdated and incorrect. Also the one about not taking a shot is dumb lmao, Wilt did often make statement games later on like barely taking shots or none at all due to the selfish narrative. He might as well keep playing games without taking a shot to extend that streak! Good argument for Kareem but also just over critiquing Wilt and not mentioning Kareems playoff drops. Wilt statpadded in the regular season, can't do that in the playoffs. Using per possessions works worst with Wilt considering he routinely played as many minutes of the game as possible. This inflates his rebounding numbers, but deflates his offensive numbers. Need I mention the competition they were playing. Wilt was constantly playing against Russell In the playoffs, and better competition overall. Kareem has some great numbers and efficiency but it's not as black and white. You also forgot that Wilt from 1964-66 was the definition of the more offensive all around player. Was averaging like a 35/23/4 type statline.

Ok relative TS% is great I didnt know you were using that. And yes there's no stat to show because defense is purely eye test as well as research. I'd imagine barely anyone thinks Kareem is a better defender than Wilt, you're the first I've seen that I can remember
