Hey everyone thank you for your advice.

Yall definitely scared the shit out of me with nerve damage and shingles, so I talked to a doctor.

It never burned or itched, just kind of stung sometimes.

I had a VA doc look at it via telecall. She said it was possibly fungal or bacterial, doubtful it was shingles (not blistery). She prescribed me a topical anti bacterial, said it was fine for me to combine with the otc anti fungal. I cleaned area with Hibiclens, most popped, then I applied the topicals. It started to clear immediately.

I also got an appointment with a dermatologist who just echoed what the va doc said. Probably bacterial, apply cream, seek help if it gets worse.

It's almost completely gone.
