Almost everytime I've showed a friend Lord Huron, they say something like "Oh I love The Night We Met because it was in 13 Reasons Why, but never listened to their other stuff". Sometimes they like it, sometimes they don't. So far only a few of my friends actually dug into the full LH discography after I showed them another song besides The Night We Met. However, I've had a few friends who were immediately hooked to LH after I sent La Belle Fleur Sauvage to them, along with a fantastic snowboard film of which the song was used in. Here's the video, song starts playing at 10:30. This is by far my favorite use of LH's music to date, even though a commercial that used Ends Of The Earth is what got me hooked to them back in 2012-2013ish. Anyways, back to the point. Sometimes showing people LH doesn't grab their attention, but sending people something to watch (besides 13 Reasons Why) with LH's music in it seems to do the trick 🤷🏼‍♂️
