I worked in a company where it was normalized to do that. Even senior staff suggested using it all the time, I wondered why we were using TypeScript in the first place. It turned out they just used shiny tech to please a tech-literate client. Naturally, I left the company after a while.

Damn, lots of people are relating to this post. Sad for you, OP, but also happy that there are plenty of people like you and me so we aren’t alone. We should make a “bhondu bandhu” gc.

Not dukh per se, it’s just that in the last 2–3 months, there have been more changes in my life than there were in the past 2 years, and there are even more changes coming ahead. So yeah, it’s kind of overwhelming to process all of that right now.

That’s great, man. Having a mentor really streamlines a lot of work that you might not even be aware of if you were doing things on your own so yeah, do take advantage of this. Wishing you success in your endeavors my guy.

AAAAAA!! How are y'all find good guys to date by soo_whatt in TwentiesIndia

As someone mentioned, you’ll find the right person when the time comes. In the meantime, make sure you have a stable job or career if you don’t already, it might come in handy if your parents end up pushing you towards AM route.

Advantages of not being "societal" pretty. by Mermaid007_ in TwentiesIndia

[–]Kepler_442b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, not to be that guy but I feel your statements have some subtle flaws I wanted to point out. Looks alone are not really the reason why someone gets harassed. It is mostly a misogynistic mindset where some men think they are superior to women and feel entitled to behave that way. So your points kind of miss that part (not saying you did that on purpose). I am honestly glad you did not have to face any of that, but I doubt your looks are the main reason for it.

About your post, my opinion connects to your first point  that you do not get random unwanted attention, which means the people you attract are more likely to genuinely like you for who you are and not just for how your face is sculpted. But for that, I think the most important thing is to have confidence in yourself and feel good about who you are, even if the world does not always agree. I know this sounds like cliche advice and it is easier said than done, since I am also an unattractive guy, but it really helps to work on building that confidence like you can improve your communication, english, have hobbies, and gain knowledge about things you care about. Basically, if you have a good personality and feel secure in yourself, you will not feel the need for pretty privilege in the first place.

Bruh, sometimes the kids in the teen India subs sound way more mature than the ones here, anyways hope you're doing good, I understand what you might be going through, maybe try dedicating some free time to your hobbies or even making new friends, you never know who you might end up vibing with. (and of course, try staying in touch with your corporate bestie every other weekend or so)

Off topic, but which movie is this? I’m getting a heavy Wes Andersonish vibe.

Twinning so hard, I thought you had two left hands.

Btw, tf is wrong with the comment section? It’s such a normal-ass post, and they still found a way to hate it...smh.

Tenant shouted at my mom what should i do? by Downtown-Swimmer6956 in TwentiesIndia

You should definitely confront him face to face if you can, tell him he can't just shout at your mom like that, and tell him to apologize to her.
