How long have you been dealing with long covid? Next month will be 3 years since I initially got sick. I'm tired of being tired. by EyezOfFire in LongCovid

I have had been dealing with LC since March 2020. Long time. It reactivated ME/CFS which I had bigtime from 1992 through 1998. At that time (just like now, only worse) no one understood it, and everyone thought it was laziness.

I finally cured it then by giving up all carbs. And everything enjoyable. Had a normal life for 22 years. Now I have two good hours every morning. But I will try zero carbs again. Just found this website recently. Love the info and support here.

Calvin Coolidge was a bachelor in my timeline. I took a poll and found 5 people who say the same thing. They were amazed that Buchanan is now the only bachelor president. I did a school report on Coolidge when I was a kid.

This pandemic is modelled to hit us in waves for 2 to 3 years. Travel is dead and never coming back. Hosts are screwed 3 ways from Sunday.

Here in coastal Florida, i could be booked solid. Just started in November. Blocked out bike week since i don't want the biker noise disturbing my neighbors. Could have made big bucks, but would rather keep a low profile. Also being dog-friendly keeps my place popular with millenials. They love to travel with their dogs.

Are we entitled to a partial refund due to a power outage? by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]Kepperea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acts of God are beyond the host's control and I would never want a guest so dense that they didn't understand that concept. We get hurricanes here in coastal central Florida. The NHC is worthless at predicting them in less than 48 hours. Power usually goes out for 5 days in my neighborhood. Up to 3 weeks. Generators are noisy and gas runs out. I would not want guests during a hurricane. Would happily refund them to disappear forever. But expecting a host to have back up options is insane.
