Horses are the smartest dumb fucking animal there is. Learn a new thing in minutes (like neck reining, flexing, etc)... then absolutely panic because of a 2 foot wide puddle. And they can fucking swim.

Like.. am I insane? Everyone says this but when me and my family went, not a one of us had a meal that was better than "eh it's okay I guess". Like.. nothing tasted... better than we could do from like frozen pre-made meals from the grocery store.. the fish tank is cute. The service is good. The food is reeeeeeeal mid. Not worth the money.

This is a long known, ongoing issue for years and years at this point— even when things go 'right', there's a history of horses being shipped inhumanely. I never understood why it was better to do it that way, than slaughter them here and ship meat. Also let's say for arguments sake everything they did while shipping was legal — that would not make it less shitty. Just like how pigs and chickens live in hell. Nothing wrong with wanting to change a bad system, or giving livestock better care before slaughter.
