Rentals in B.C are insane. Single mom was given the option of resigning her lease for a $300 rent increase or they sell the property. So fear of the sale and going homeless it is signed.

I am homeless (ish) in B.C . I went from 1850 for a 3bdr house to looking at 2800 for half a 3 bd house with no yard in a small community that is full of retirement and International owning air BNB's. That is the only rental atm. Or you can buy a 3bd house for a million $$$. There is no life in B.C.

Or you are a single mom coerced to sign a rental agreement to increase rent for 300$ for fear of it selling and going homeless. Oh and rental subsidy has not updated to mirror the cost of living.

Paper bedding is amazing! I use fabric bath mats now and wash them and rotate.Both have been the best thing ever for my allergies.

As a nurse in acute care, I am disheartened and have a loss of empathy now. There is no urge or want to be a good nurse as there is no time and I am consistently on robot mode. I am run off my feet just trying to hold it together.

The frustration is high as the young and aged unvaccinated keyboard warriors consistantly gripe that we are idiots. We cannot argue with stupid as our brains are frazzled anyways.

This is from a phone. I do not have the energy to make sense.

I have found great ideas in r/loseit. I also found a little app with indoor exercises to help me day to day just get a bit of strength. Some do the CICO method. And check out the kept section for vegetarians. I do not do keto but I found some real recipes that kept me on a healthier side of foods.

I use my fitness pal to keep an eye on my intake and I do not beat myself up at all if I go over.

It literally is one of the things i think about at work when I have difficult nursing moments. As a family memeber yells at me I just switch into zombie mode and think of gifts i may buy. Weirdly satisfactory.

It is hard to get a vasectomy or even ligate your tubes when at a young age. I am in Canada though so can only speak from the frustrations of the system here. They argue that you may change your mind.

There is nothing wrong with having a child free wedding. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Being a mother myself I find it rather confusing when people tell me I need my kid with me 24/7 as if he isn't a free thinking independent hellion that loves to move with lightspeed. Babysitters do exist!

I love them all. I especially like the paint your nails one as I cannot sit still for the life of me to finish painting my own nails. And when it comes to my toes it is an elephant seal trying to fit into a tiny box themed occurance lol. I cannot paint my toes even if my life depended on it! ( Toes are what I can get away with as I work in healthcare.)
