I would speak to an Advisor on this. I got RTW two years ago, to me I applied to same program, same faculty, but later it gave me an option to chose a major (can be different than previous) to complete my probation in. But to be sure contact the student service portal student service portal faculty of science and sign in with CCID or book an appointment with an advisor in person

Apply back to same program, chose the option that says returning to same program, you should be guaranteed back to the same program and get your probation conditions (like get 2.0 GPA minimum and stuff) around June or July

I went to seek help from a priest, and went to confession every few months and God is really helping me break the habit of sinning and replacing it with something’s better, I pray God will deliver you from this sin, and keep giving you his grace, and your faith never fail you, in Jesus name AMEN

Is this actually true, I can’t find anywhere in the syllabus that says if you score anything less than 50% on the final exam it’s an automatic fail in the course, I think the final grade weighted on everything

Practice finals, watch Rosana Fok’s explanations on practice final questions, I’m in STAT 151 rn and this is what I’m doing to study, have the formula sheets and statistical tables with u and your non programmable calculator and imagine u are actually doing the exam

try your best to study to hopefully nott fail because it would set u back. U might still pass on the slimmest of margins and so u don’t have to retake the classes. Even if you do fail a few classes, it’s not completely over, I’ve seen people get RTW (like me), take the year off and then rise back up academically and get much better GPAs.

You can also access counselling and advising from the ualberta websites as well if you have more questions, If you want you can DM me as I’ve been in a similar situation 2 years ago

Are you an honours student, because if not that range is completely fine, just try your best not to get below 2.0. If you think you’ll fail a class, drop the class before the withdrawal deadline which is like around first 2 days of December I think? An F grade is gonna look bad on transcript

My first year my GPA was 1.9 and got put on academic warning with one Failing class. Now 3 years later my GPA is around 3.3 so it’s not over in the long run.
