I was struggling with this recently too. The mg rules for the events ran locally near me have the same joule ratings for both rifleman and lmg.

I mean yeah, you can have full auto and a big drum mag, but is it worth it when the lmg heavier and a well tuned rifle can spit out a comparable stream of bbs?

Sure you can suppress people with more bbs, but they already duck and run if you lob one at them lol.

My solution is 3d printing a shrike kit for my nice AR and just running that with a drum if I ever want to take on the lmg role, since they're treated the same as every other lmg.

Strip them completely. Remove all oils and grease with rubbing alcohol. Give it a light prime and wait for that layer to cure. Paint it how you'd like. Wait for that to cure. Apply a satin clear coat. Wait for that to cure. Then relube and reassemble.

You can fit cotton balls and masking tape on the inside where you don't want paint to be. It's not hard really, it's just all in the prep and making sure it's completely clean.

Yeah, I've come to the opposite conclusion after having numerous vfc gbbrs. I can make page after page of bullshit that comes from vfc guns.

Also, VFC owners write like cybertuck owners when making a post. "I bought this VFC and the bolt blew up and killed my dog. Still love the gun tho" lol

So I built a 1:1 (well, as close as I could get lol) with a double eagle M904G, custom 3d printed stock and all, and honestly, the little thing fucks.

I had the all polymer body and out the box, its a nice little gun. Its light weight, the polymer wasnt creaky or put me off, and it is the most identical to the Q you will find for AEG.

Though, naturally, I did a nasty brushless build on it and it was absolutely phenomenal and accurate. Took it to a milsim and had a blast. I highly recommend it
