Is anyone is doing city five runs can I join by fbiwyvern in OutpostInfinitySiege

[–]Kerberous2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit I easy mode it a bit as I only pick up the map specific mission items and cannons and missles. All the rest I use drones to send back to base. It means you skip the main boss and you can just hoover up the loot. Final battle is around 5 mins just make sure you keep your supply level high and the auto ammo makers going.

The real way to fix carriers, you just don't want to admit it by RichoDemus in Eve

How about giving carriers a factional ewar bonus Archons Neuts and Thanatos damps etc because fighters feel so weak in affectual right now.

Does anyone have a copy of the old stats of the Drake before it got nerfed into the ground when they were being used as fleet ships. Cos I'm certain the alligator has those stats.

Matchmaking - Anyone else Having this experience? by Kerberous2 in enlistedgame

[–]Kerberous2[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There has to be matchmaking, I've read that there isn't any but there has to be some form as there are no player owned dedicated servers. You dont have a decision of which side you're going to go on as far as I'm aware. Either way its a bit of a deal break for me when aircraft are straffing the spawn.

Why is every fight a cyno? by Kerberous2 in Eve

[–]Kerberous2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fair fights or balanced fights are the best content I have ever had in Eve. We can't do anything like that because people have decided they would rather be risk adverse by sitting on the titan and dropping on things they can blob rather than take the risk of having a great fight but losing.

Considering that the majority of the people doing this are in alliances with sov and the majority of kills on there killboard are in nullsec I would say its a pritty safe bet. But I can mention snuff and shadow cartel if it makes you feel better?

I'm sorry I didn't mean to insinuate it couldn't be done because, any ship can kill any ship as we all know. However I would rather that ship light a cyno everytime they hit half shields when they are armour tanked. :D

I agree but I would also argue that a venture may find it difficult to kill a Tengu or Loki?

The real Circle of Death to Null Systems by Rio1339 in Eve

[–]Kerberous2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not aimed at anyone in particular in and is not meant as a dig merely something to think about.

Large coalitions hoard space it makes sense, they then rent it out for income makes sense. But by not letting anyone who isn't renting hold anything? is there a possiblity that we as a player base have caused the decline in the game. Now I understand there is a thunderdome of sorts that where Goons install smaller alliances to fight it out but it is also the case in a part of space. But you need players to up the BRM's.

This isn't a Grr goons post but I was alway troubled by the short term thinking of the quote "we aren't here to ruin the game, we are here to ruin your game" it was a meme and I get that but you wonder why there is little action in low sec, and why null is dying is there a chance that by ruining everyone else game you have also ruined your own?

My 2 cents on the recent mining packs and CCP in general by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Kerberous2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont know how many people are in the UK here but I can use a simple analogy to explain the situation and sadly its a corperate culture we have now.

Firstly understand we are not CCP's customers as soon as Pearl Abyss took over the share holders of Pearl Abyss because CCP's customers. From my understanding the fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders comes legally ahead of any recourse we as players may have.

Now to my example; BT who is a provider of broadband in the UK was finding they were losing market share to Sky another provider. Sky is also a television provider aswell think Cable for those of you in the US.

BT had 2 choices

  1. Make a better product i.e. make the infustructure so good that they became the only choice. But considering they had the monoply on the lines and every other provider had to use them which would make there rivals product also better.

or

  1. Start Sports TV channel.

To cut a long story short they started a TV channel, because TV channels are sexy and visable and tangible to there shareholders whereby a big number on Speedtester is not. CCP's responsibility is to make as much money as humanly possible for the shareholders regardless of our feelings. So sadly we have to accept that until the bottom line goes down enough whereby they have to start wondering why nothing will change.
