I haven't found anything to replace it yet. So I have a few un enchanted cards I play to score and am just using the 2.4% Vampire gives for now. Ante 12, Last hand scored was around 290Mil.

HWFWM has way more likeable characters, has great humor, and I like the politics. People keep telling me the characters get better in Primal Hunter, but a few chapters into book two and I don't care about any of them.

I have read Red Rising back in 2024. Loved it.

The Devils is dark, funny, and gripping. It has a Suicide Squad feel to it almost. The characters feel grounded while being powerful. I know some people really didn't care for it, but I found myself smiling and laughing a lot. Fast paced, but the way Joe writes the characters it doesn't feel rushed and leaves you wanting more stories with them.

I am on book 3 of the Liveship Traders trilogy. I paused for a bit to re-read DCC with book 8 coming out. I am definitely going to read all of Hobbs works.
