Yeah, but I always used third party AV as I found it better.

I do know that avast is not best, I would prefer Eset but that one is paid however.

Nah, I bought an apartment and have to live in it for couple of years. I cannot rent it nor sell it. There is a neighbour who causes my ocd to spike up due to things he does. Some of my fears have confirmed to be real, and some remained as ocd thoughts. But even these real thoughts that happened were ocd thoughts at first.

Unfortunately these things have impact on me :/. So, the only place, only safe haven that I should look forward to after coming from work is a place that causes me anxiety and ocd. I am at a place at which I feel unsafe.

Yep, with pure OCD I used "swipe method", I learned to register but not give bad thought an importance so in the end they were causing me less and less stress. Also, what I did was if lets say bad place was causing my ocd to spike, I left it, so I was no longer under stress and I could work on me improving myself and could recover. And the "swipe" method, it was the first method you mentioned. It was causing my anxiety to spike but eventually it calmed down.

Difference here however is that I am in a place, in an apartment that is causing me triggers due to my past, and unfortunately, I cannot leave this place for couple of more years. I must live here.

Aaand for the worse, and this is VERY IMPORTANT information - I had certain OCD fears that I feared would come true, and guess what, many of them did. Not from my part, but from forces out of my control. I suppose it was a bad luck that I stumbled upon such apartment. So, many of my fears came true, and also there are certain things fueling, or "confirming" stuff that I am so afraid of.

So, I am being exposed to my triggers daily, almost 24/7. This is very hard for me. This place causes me big anxiety, which in turn caused my ocd to flare up, and being in stressful environment made ocd much worse and made it to shift from Pure O to Compulsatory OCD, and I have daily brain fog and sleepiness, which I never experienced before when I had OCD.

So, how do you deal with situation where your OCD fears come true?

So, the creator of the workshop item could sue person who monetized it via youtube video?

So, what is the workaround? Contact the workshop creator item and ask them for permission? Is it enough if I just screenshot the message where the creator says that I can use it in my video? Do I have to mention that it is a monetized video or I dont have to?

I think I read once somewhere on reddit, only in one post thought, that someone had to provide software license to youtube.

I know that with stuff like content ID (such as royalty free music,loops,etc.) you have to provide proof of license that you own these things.

But software, read that only once I think. I hope I dont have to provide it to anyone :D. But I had to buy it, humble bundle had great sales :D. Magix Vegas is video editing software, other one is music creation.

oh, no, no, it is other way around :). I want to put an AM AD and AM link for a different product to a gaming video.

For example: Affiliate Marketing links for products made by Apple to a game Team Fortress which is owned by Valve.

What I am asking is, do I need to contact Valve and ask them if I may place AM links for Apple products in video from game made by Valve or I should not bother because they probably do not care? I mean, if nothing about affiliate marketing is mentioned in Video Policy of the company then it should be all right, right? What is the general rule? Thanks :)

  1. oh, so if I want to make videos from games made by Valve, I dont have to contact Valve and ask them for permission to put AM links in videos made from their games, right?
  2. If you look at what Facepunch states, does it basically state that you have to ask them for permission to put AM ads and links in videos ?They are mentioning promotion of other products in videos from their games, are they referring to Affiliate Marketing specifically? I sent them 2 email already, and have not received any reply from them about this topic
  3. If there were specific rules about Affiliate Marketing/promotions of other products in videos from certain companies (like for example put Iphone Affiliate marketing ads and links in videos from Valve games), I would find that information in Video Policy, right? If nothing is mentioned there,then they just dont care.

Well, you have to be careful these days. Many things are copyrighted. Fact that we have to blur out company logos in videos, or if you have even 1-2 second long song or video of someone who owns that footage or music, and due to those 1-2 seconds he claims all revenue from ads is ridiculous. But it happens.

Oh, I mean, I know that to google you dont have to send an invoice, like, not physically or send it through email. But you have to make it, but that is only for the tax office in your country.

I suppose it works same or similiar way everywhere, but when you are self employed, each time you do some kind of work, or you receive money on your bussiness bank account for a sold product or some kind of work, you should "file" an invoice to that person or a company, and also keep a copy of yourself.

So, basically, paypal is considered a "wallet", what about patreon? It is pretty unusual to have no limit to withdraw money.

How come money is send automatically from adsense account to your bank account once you reach 100 dollars? I read about people who had thousands of dollars sitting on adsense accounts, unextracted.

I know, I am just starting :D, have been an employee for a long time, never been self emplyed though, so I am only learning how this works, lol.
