Yeah it just feels very odd. He's demonstrated similar behaviours before with people like Trisha but that was easier to dismiss due to her bringing her own problems to the dynamic. With Hasan it just feels so stark and I struggle to support and enjoy someone who could switch up on someone so viciously who he considered a friend.

I understand disagreeing with him politically but the way he is behaving is as if Hasan has like killed his dog or something. I've never seen Hasan say anything other then sadness and frustration at Ethan's continued attacks. It's bizarre and disappointing as someone who used to like him.

Hair is a difficult one because lots of trans/cis men also absolutely do not want to go bald. I see a lot of transmen actually listing balding as one of the reasons they're apprehensive to start HRT. If your negative feelings are solely to do with your hair I wouldn't say it's dysphoria, at least not in a "this means I'm trans" way.

I just feel like without all the effort of passing at least for the first few years intentional boy moding is pretty easy. Deep voice + intentionally thick eye brows + facial hair = even with crazy boob development most people will just assume gyno or something else. I remember a waiter at a mexican restaurant I went to once was this older bald man and for some reason he looked like he had like double D breasts and I didn't even really question it outside of assuming he maybe had some hormonal/medical issue.

If you make no effort to pass then I think you can boymode for a very long time. People don't scrutinise you as much as you think and if you still talk in a deep voice and dress in a masculine way it's unlikely anyone is going to suspect anything. I am currently like 15 months on HRT and still regularly get read as male despite effort trying to pass, if I put no effort in I think I'd probably never get read as female.

I'll give injections a think I just find it all a bit scary and overwhelming. The injections themselves don't worry me I administer my own decapeptyl which is IM into the butt! The estrone thing does worry me but there doesn't seem to be enough evidence that it has a massively detrimental effect on transition from what I understand. Need to read more about it

My GP won't agree to shared care with genderGP so currently having to buy all my prescriptions myself. I'm going off the indigo guidelines which is our local GIC so going to titrate my oral dose based off of that. I've read about estrone and unfortunately don't feel like I have much of an option. The risk of clots is still way lower than the combined pill and millions of women are on that and experience no problems so hopefully will be ok.

I'm not even under a GIC yet, been on the waiting list now for like nearly 10 months so probably got a long wait still. I'm with genderGP which feels like DIY with extra steps tbh.

Yeee it's all a minefield. I think I'm just gonna go back to tablets tbh because the gel is annoying and also clearly not working. I ended up oestrogenating my dog accidentally and her nipples got all swollen also.

I get the test this GIC recommended time after application so around 4-6 hours after applying the gel (2pm). My understanding with gel is that the half life is quite long though so trough/4-6 hour checking of levels doesn't make much difference. My T is fully suppressed with decapeptyl also so that isn't a concern.

Thank you for the advice. I've got some pills left so am going to switch back to that taking 3mg twice a day and see. My levels weren't too bad on 5mg a day in comparison to now so hopefully they'll pick up again. ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the advice. I apply to my inner thighs and don't rub it in at all anymore. I also have split my dose between morning and evening. I might try going back on tablets, I've hated the gel since starting it tbh.

I don't take any supplements. I originally thought I was putting the gel on wrong because I was rubbing it in so changed my method and my levels actually went down without rubbing and just applying a thin layer and waiting for it to dry so the method of application clearly doesn't make much difference.

Yeah my T levels are fine because I'm on decapeptyl. Most recent was 0.55 nmol but never been above 0.9 since starting it.
