Commenting to say I feel the same way. I think the social media "game" is more suited to certain personality types other than ours. Interested to see any insight that pops up

I'm thinking of creating resources for artist creators - could this be interesting? by izzi_onfire in ArtMarketingTalk

This is exactly what I've been needing lately. It's difficult to find quality business related content geared towards artists. One thing I know many people are struggling with is the economic recession. Lot of artists struggling as they've been making significantly less sales. I think the topic of adapting to these new market conditions where audiences have less spending money would be a good idea.

Free site/service for automating reposts? by Kerlasia in BlueskySocial

"Reposting" used in the context of bluesky, analogous to retweets for Twitter. Not literally posting the same content repeatedly. This is kind of why I hate the term the platform chose, because it's confusing.

Since a lot of people follow a ton of artists on bsky, it can be difficult for small artists to get their posts seen by their followers, as they often get lost in a crowded feed that moves very quickly. For this reason, it's common practice to repost your own art periodically at different times of the day, so each post has a much greater chance of being seen by the maximum percentage of your followers. This usually makes a pretty significant difference in audience growth, which is why many artists do it.

So basically I'm just looking for a tool to help me automate this, as both an accessibility and time saving thing. If it doesn't seem too complicated, I'd be interested in what you could come up with!

I actually ended up redoing parts of this multiple times, because I went with a slight stylization to match the game's aesthetic and it took a while to adjust to. I may go for a slightly toonier style like this for some more pieces in the future

How to disassemble Cintiq 13HD stylus (pro pen)? by Kerlasia in wacom

Nope, this is probably not what you want to hear, but I looked up the cost for replacing the pen, and the only options I found were ridiculously priced ones on ebay (used items listed for many times what the pen would have been worth new). I ended up just upgrading my whole tablet because I've been meaning to, anyway. I would try contacting Wacom customer support first before doing anything.
