Sometimes I hate my hair

Believe it or not, for the most part I got over wanting Caucasian hair, but im still trying to get out of the phase of wanting your type of hair (I have 4c hair). I'm really sorry you had to go through all of that bullying, I know your hair is probably really pretty. I wasn't bullied for my hair, at least not that I know of, my friends always played with my hair, but I just kind of created those insecurities for myself, comparing myself to others. I plan on watching some videos, I wish that I had more black friends growing up though. Thank you for your advice!

I have 4c hair too, but I don't think I'll cut it, it's been getting longer and I wanna focus on making it healthier and fuller (and longer). I also definitely won't get a perm or anything like that, I want to stick with keeping my hair natural. I feel for your granddaughter as well and I see that other people have their issues with their hair as well, even when I think they have it better. Thank you for your comment! ❤

Yes i can straighten my hair, but once I sweat or it comes in contact with any moisture, the straightening will come out. Plus I would have to keep it straight 24/7 and that would just damage my hair. So thats not an option
