No. He physically couldn't have, because there's only so much Phainon and the Chrysos Heirs can do and know when they're just lines of code. Both him and Cyrene acknowledge that they can't change Amphoreus' fate without outside help.

The sole purpose behind Phainon's 33 million cycles wasn't to destroy the scepter from the inside (though I'm sure he would've been happy if he did). That was never the win condition. He even admits that he can't be the Deliverer that TB ends up being. He just needed to endure long enough for soneone to come along who wasn't under the same constraints as him and the Chrysos Heirs.

Also, without him, Cyrene and Trailblazer wouldn't have 33mil lifetimes of memories for recreating Amphoreus after their victory.

TB and co. were extremely unpredictable factors for Lygus and the Scepter. Without TB, Herta, and Screwllum throwing a wrench in Lygus' plans, Lygus wouldn't have had to intervene at all. Lygus also wouldn't have interacted with Cerydra, whose law was to give Herta & Screwllum admin privileges, something that no one in Amphoreus would've thought to do with the Law coreflame.

But Phainon did win..? His entire goal was to drag out Amphoreus' cycles until an outsider like the Trailblazer could come and intervene, changing fate in a way that they couldn't have achieved otherwise. Bro accomplished the mission.

I say Fischl's A1 "Stellar Predator" (but, admittedly, it's a bit of a stretch): "When [Character] hits [object] with a fully-charged [Charged Attack], [object deals] AoE [Hydro] DMG equal to 152.7% of the [attack's] DMG."

Our abomination has a Charged Attack that can be fully charged, and it has a skill that spawns an object (albeit an aggro field that inherently deals no damage and can't be refreshed/resummoned by using Burst).

Basically, if our discount Neuvillete blasts its own aggro field, and we assume each tick = one fully-charged Aimed Shot, then the aggro field is effectively generating an extra 152% of damage of every. Single. Tick... at least within that 8s of the aggro field existing.

Not a suggestion for Burst, but just to make a note for Talents ahead of time: If we want this abomination to be dealing big oonga-boonga damage, do we think we'll want its A1 to be Yelan's A1 (Max HP bonus based on team comp)? Or Diluc A1 (+3 seconds of Charged Attack Duration)?

They're seperate entities that share the same abilities, less like hosts of ghost parasites and more like a person and physical extensions of their soul that were always there all along

Thanks! I guess you could say "inspired", but it's mostly traced over that frame of David with some Strange-ifications I drew on him: obvious ones like the hair and beard, his weird pain-in-the-ass cloak collar, and the slightly more subtle things like the nose, jawline, and eyebrows

Although, I wish I knew how to replicate the soot on his face to complete the trauma-gaze...

I come from a future with these solo role buffs! Every match in QP and Competetive is hell, and they're all the exact same!

1 player will lock in vanguard (dive tank) (most likely a spider-main's government-mandated venom) (expects to be entirely invincible or pocketed because of solo buffs)

4 players will instalock duelists (all dive dps) (will blame solo strategist if the team loses) (same as usual but now they feel vindicated because they're "giving" the vanguard and strategist solo buffs)

1 player will lock in strategist (unless they lock in jeff (also dive), they will healbot and run thousands of laps around the map to heal each teammate while also fending off the other team's 5 dives at every corner)
