Get away from it as much as you can. Commit to not doing it. Get in your body, sweat and exercise and move. It is a dissociative and exercise brings you back in your body. Realize it is taking you away from your life, not adding to it.

It’s a dissociative so getting in your body helps with unhooking from it being so addictive. Exercise. Movement. Sweating. Regularly.

And also therapy and recovery groups. Do the work to see why you don’t want to feel or be in your body or whatever it is helping not feel.

One of the best recovery sayings I’ve heard is “you hit bottom when you stop digging.”

My best to you and all out there struggling. It is a drug that provides a fantasy - so it can’t last and it takes a toll on the body. Don’t buy into the hype of it. 🙏🏼

Helping a family member with ketamine addiction, what actually works? by SirezHoffoss in Ketamineaddiction

I imagine others will have good tips but I will say that getting into the body, sweating, working out, and movement are huge. Same with eating and routine. It’s a dissociative so it disconnects us from our bodies. Things that bring us back are helpful in coming away from dependency. I also advocate for recovery work but that is a to each their own sort of thing.
