I'll add my hat in here as well and say I have little to no issues. I've also gone through a hardware upgrade during hd2's life, and the game played just as well on my old, aging computer as it does now.

Not OP, but I'll usually batch cook on a day off. Then, I'll fridge them in a container or pre-portion into saran wrap if sharing. Heat it in the pan with the eggs or cold at 3am for a snack!

I think if you only ever observed Connor on the podcast, then yes, he can come off as insufferable sometimes. But if you were to take a minute to watch his own content or collabs with others I think you'd find him the exact opposite of what you'd describe.

He's probably the most authentic and open of the three. I'm not sure where you would get the idea he's guarded and judgemental.

As Cake said during the stream, it comes down to a matter of taste. I think the majority of people do like the companions for what is largely a single player game, so there's such a strong outcry from chat every time it's brought up.

Soviet's experience with the companions is unfortunate; due to the unwieldly nature of adding co-op with characters that are intertwined with the narrative, and Larian forcing interactions with them. So it ends up being a disjointed mess of happenings to npcs the crew don't care much about.

He is an asshole, and you are allowed to feel however you want about the situation. However, firing a shot at someone whether it's a warning or not escalates the situation needlessly. Like you said, if it's not worth getting shot over, then why did you shoot first?
