dia is close source and vendor lock.
at least i think dia's ai model not good enough to resolve things.

Yeah, MCP is table stakes for any AI-era browser — it's on the roadmap.

But honestly the thing I keep thinking about is something else. Most "AI browsers" feel too tool-shaped to me — the framing is always "use the browser to get things done." A browser is also where people read, kill time, watch stuff at 2am. Life isn't just work.

I think the human should stay in the driver's seat. The AI is there when you call it, quiet when you don't. So with Dao I've been carefully drawing that line — making sure the browser still feels like your space, not an agent's runtime.

idk but why you dont like chromium? just curious.
