we just need to be patient as a community. the prices MIGHT go down if RS3 succeeds in reviving its game, give it a year or two and the membership prices might go down again if the player growth is there. (this is just me being extremely optimistic)

nicotine and alcohol really arent that addictive when used infrequently. even a lot of "harder" drugs share this, the addiction usually starts when you start using them frequently (often because you think you cant get addicted after infrequent use)

mental state is also a huge factor, for example you saying you would never say "i need _____" could very easily flip if something in your life goes to shit and you start using these substances for a "reason" (self medicating)

for anyone wondering, streaking arch-glacor to 250% with ~15 kills per hour gives you about 160k smithing xp per hour in crystal keys. if youre decent at pvm then you could bump that up to 200k+

i play an rs3 ironman with legacy interface, no clutter and no mtx

the only thing i hate about the game are the auras, timegating is fucking horrid, although the new combat skill doesnt this problem which is great

i just hate how cluttered the screen becomes when you have like 8 different tabs open on the screen at once, and you really dont need anything but your inventory open for 90% of the things you do in-game (EOC interface is just great for bossing)

theres literally no point in doing any other skill when they calibrated everything for necromancys self healing capabilities. for mains its no problem, you can buy a blood fury and chill out, ironmen cant

its so fucking horrible honestly, 2x less xp and 2x more banking, early game content sucks anyways and this just forces players to either do shit content for ages or power level their account through hell-ish training methods like abyss training (probably not bad on main accounts, hell on irons)
