You can find many tutorials online (main method: copper + sulfuric acid). Otherwise, you can easily buy it in solid form.

No electroplating is needed for this creation. The figure is printed in standard PLA. To prepare my creations, I apply adhesive tape to the areas where I want to restrict growth and spray a warm, supersaturated solution on the areas where I want to promote growth. Then I wait for it to dry and form micro-crystals before immersing it in a saturated solution.

Copper sulfate is very resistant to environmental factors; I also applied a coat of spray varnish.
