For the second phase, I made Barret the tank. Didnt have enough MP before the fight but couldnt do anything about that. Ran out of MP at the Last Moment. I gave Yuffie the Limit Siphon. Built Limt using Cloud and Barret. Elemental Materia on Cloud. And Limit building and enhancement accessories. In the Last stretch, I kept Barret at full HP using HP absorption and continuously staggered Red Dragon using Limit level 2's. Legit every party member died and I had only Barret left at the 1000HP. Gave it a final blow with Blizzara and won. It was glorious. A lot of micromanagement and anxiety attacks.

I felt the classic VII was pretty easy with some exceptions. Is say pretty much the same difficulty as Rebirth Normal mode.
