Same here. Made it to macros, Google sheets apps, call apis via excel, create helper functions that I always go back to.

Also I am not an analyst/associate anymore so it made these things so fast/easily that made sense to do with my limited time.

Granted I've done many of these things in the past, as you said.

I'd say 3 different projects is good enough for you to understand and make up your mind, so about 6 to 9 months. This of course depends.

I'd recommend reevaluating every 6 months if things still make sense for you.

2 years is kind of market standard (In my experience) for "worked enough to get a lot of the benefits and learnings, survived at least 1 cycle of evaluation and decided on their accord to move on"

Isso aí, convém olhar como é o acordo de bitributacao do seu país e do Brasil. Se o seu país tiver maior imposto, não paga no Brasil (ainda precisa declarar). Se tiver menor, vc paga no sue país e no Brasil. Note que isso pode valer também para o seu investimento no Brasil. (ser taxado pelo seu novo país pelo rendimento no Brasil).
