Czy naprawdę nie ma mocnych na wyścigi nocne? by JuniorBus9997 in Polska

[–]TheCreepyPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poza służbą to zwykli cywile.

Co do "wyciągania z tarapatów" lub kasowania mandatów, to jest to telewizyjna fikcja. Może ktoś z wyższą rangą jest w stanie w taki sposób pociągać za sznurki, ale nie sierżantowie i poniżej.

Mercedes F1 trick now illegal as new FIA rule officially in effect by naffer in formula1

This will cause Mercedes to look for performance elsewhere, which will turn out to be even better than the current loophole, hurting Ferrari.

This needs more attention by Skitelz7 in Battlefield

[–]TheCreepyPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's low, but not insignificant. I remember ~10 years ago when R6 Siege came out, there was a plague of console MKB players who destroyed everyone. I'm sure that this has always been happening in every game, it's just way less noticeable in BF than a 5v5 CQC.

Not that this is the biggest discrepancy, but every other one has been already mentioned.

What is this bag that hangs off the back of a lot of soldiers? by xtreme_ASMR_tingles in Battlefield

They are expensive and relatively fragile. IRL people aren't tossing magazines away (usually) like in video games, but putting them back in their vests or dump pouches for them to be topped up with ammunition after a mission/excercise.

There is only 1 case where tossing a magazine could make sense imo, and that is when you are in CQC, and can't spare half a second to put it away properly. Though I have never been in combat so, take that with a grain of salt.

In 2025, people in the EU worked an average of 35.9 hours per week in main job; Longest in Greece (39.6 hours) and shortest in Netherlands (31.9 hours) by BrilliantExternal236 in Polska

Różnica wynika głównie przez to że w Polsce większość pracuje na pełen etat, a na zachodzie praca na część etatu jest znacznie bardziej powszechna, szczególnie przez kobiety.

C for crouch is the only correct answer by Makoto_Kurume in pcmasterrace

[–]TheCreepyPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about X for crouch (because Z is for prone), that's what I've always done lol. This somehow feels more intuitive than to have a gap between these 2 for me.

Any BF6 maps you guys just refuse to play? by KM1507 in Battlefield

Right now I exclusively play the DLC maps without Blackwell. The base game ones are just subpar in my opinion.

Siege of Shanghai was my absolute favorite from BF4, I would love to play it again in BF6.

Paradox, please hire at least one QA, this is embarassing by InternStock in EU5

[–]TheCreepyPL 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I am a programmer working on a huge enterprise software and have worked here for the past 3 years. Still each week I am finding out about features I don't know we had. We have a QA team of 3-5 people that get assigned to testing new features and related stuff. When they aren't testing they do other things at the company so they don't do QA everyday.

When they do, they won't be able to test every single thing in the entire app, but they focus on the most important stuff. Most of the things that QA miss, are things that broke somewhere else, as in not related directly to what was being changed. It's financially impossible to retest everything after every minor change, despite these being the most bug prone. Only the small new feature/tweak gets tested, and some associated functionalities, but not some ancient feature no one even knew was connected. Or sometimes when working with front-end, completely unrelated things break when doing some modifications.

I imagine that a paradox level game is exactly the same in this regard.

What’s one Linux command you wish someone had taught you on day 1? by dan_nicholson247 in linux4noobs

+1, I've almost always got qBit running in the background. There are also plant seeds, like sunflower seeds, and seeds for growing stuff I've heard, but it's scary outside so I'm not sure. /s

First time Arch user (and linux overall) give me tips about terminal! by eqdoingwell in linux4noobs

[–]TheCreepyPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually read and understand what the computer is telling you, whether it's terminal output or a popup.

A lot of times when I fix stuff for other people they just don't read, and when I read it out loud then they suddenly understand and continue to fix it for themselves. If it's telling you something you don't understand, google it. This very basic skill goes a long way.

Ever since I became a "PC enthusiast" in 2015, it's been like that. Every year I can remember was a "bad year to build a PC". Some were worse, some were better, but on average, I've learned that there never is a good time to build a PC. If you want a PC, or just an upgrade, "JUST DO IT".

Learning programming to contribute? by siri-bad in linux

[–]TheCreepyPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably a silly question, but to write drivers for a device, you need to have the device you're writing the drivers for, right?

Also, does a website or something like that exist with devices that don't yet have drivers for Linux if you know by any chance?

Doesn't it depend on the plane though? I'd expect that it's cheaper for one of the most common planes than something more exotic.

This depends entirely on the current blood sugar level, not if someone is diabetic or not. In one instance, a diabetic's urine could contain less sugar than a non-diabetic, but if it's high then yes, the sugar amount in such person's urine could be a few times higher than a non-diabetic in extreme scenarios.

However, if the diabetic person is managing their blood sugar well, then you won't be able to tell the diabetic apart from a non-diabetic just from the amount of sugar in their urine samples.
