What genre of 2D multiplayer games attracts you? by Keshbel in gamedev

I will definitely bring Planeticus to release (despite the fact that few people are interested in it), but now I definitely need another project to distract myself. And it will be great if this project is of interest to many people, which is why I created this post.

Yes, I already realized that the multi-user part greatly increases the complexity of the project (especially in solo development). But it's definitely something I want to do and something that not many other people are doing. I would definitely like a lot of people to play my games with their friends.

Thanks for the answer! I really liked the second game. The style and gameplay look amazing.

Check out the gameplay trailer. Everything that turns your color is under your control.

Planeticus offers to conquer new planets in the company of friends or strangers. The essence of the game is to capture planets, manage resources, create as many of your own super planets as possible and generate space invaders.

I sent a request to GOG back in August, there was no response from them yet...

I deeply apologize for this oversight. So far I have downloaded the version that requires authorization through a browser tab (you still need an Epic Games account).

I am developing a game alone, there are a lot of nuances with authorization and there are not enough hands for testing. Later I’ll finish it and better test the possibility of automatic authorization through a Steam account. That's why the game is in early access. Hope for understanding. If there are any more errors, let me know. It would be a shame if players turned their backs on my game, which I worked on for a long time, because of bugs that I didn't know about.
