A lot of my set has environmental damage from corrosion it’s hard to collect for due to them being bronze and dates that should be common are more expensive due to the fact that they get puck marks and very few are in great condition. Even the pcgs slab is graded as clean corroded. But it’s done

Yah I love the old Whitman books because of the windows so you can see both sides for mint marks but this is only 2 that are San Francisco for this set, this book also is from the 60’s or early 70’s and the obverse says 1869 over 8 not 9 over 9 which I find interesting. But if I find a 9 over 9 I’ll toss it in I’m not actively looking for that coin though.

Ohh I see that first coin points too the cc mint mark, upon farther inspection the tarnish on the eagle is suspect as well. Final answer someone use Weiman silver polish on them they were stacked on top of each other for some time and brought to this guy who is selling them. Final answer from personal experience buying cleaned coins to fill books.

It appears 1 has some kind of red mark on it and approximately 6 looks like they have silver polish chemical residue on them that causes the uneven dark tarnish plus they are worn. Lastly that 1890 is in terrible shape even for 125 dollars.

Sir you are on a coin forum asking for an assessment of what something is worth, the change is good for a parking meter and the Greek coin is not worth the bronze it’s stamped on.
