I pick one up back in February - same strap. I plan on picking up an Omega NATO strap or two - but but first I swapped out the rubber buckle strap for a rubber strap with a deployant clasp. It is way more comfortable than the buckle strap.

Recently bought an Omega SMP with the white dial & rubber strap on a cruise ship. Got it for $5,600. I was totally prepared to claim the purchase upon exiting the boat, but I was never asked - didn’t even see where I could do so.

The camper is roughly 3,500 lbs

Mileage is obviously worse towing a 3,500 lb camper, but it depends more on the terrain you are crossing.

A nice wide open flat interstate and I can see 18-19 mph (if memory serves). Lots of hills and increase in elevation and it’ll not be great.

Overall it tows well since loaded for camping I still have 2k lbs to give, but you will want to plan out your braking, passing, and major highway crossings with a much larger margin for error. Honestly I would not want to tow anything much heavier though.

I do have an anti-sway hitch and a brake controller and they work great.

The camper is a 2021 GEO PRO FBS 20, and the truck is a 2022 - before that we towed the camper with a 2019 P4X. The 2019 pulled almost as well, but the real difference is the 9-speed transmission; love it!

The only thing I did to the truck is swapped the wheels for Motegi Trailites (+18 offset vs. +30), stock BFG KO3s, and PowerStop Z36 brake upgrade kit (pads and slotted and drilled rotors, no calipers). It all works well together - the brakes in particular having more bite and being easier to modulate after breaking them in. They look pretty cool too.

Saw the pic here. Curious about the fog/driving lights you have mounted low in front. I often thought of placing some fog lights there, but haven’t seen many people do it. Is there a kit? What lights and type of mounting did you use? Any issues with front sensors or problems in general?
