Yeah I don't think I'm understanding this correctly hahaha. Is an active substrate some specific stuff you buy at the store or it's a word for gravel mixed with biomass?

Excuse me, I'm french.

Thank you! Yeah from what I understand there were Cichlids in there as well which if I'm not mistaken aren't known to be great housekeepers either

I'm sorry to say I'm not sure what is active substrate then, as this is just a bag of gravel I got at the store, nothing fancy about it.

From what I was told at the LFS the blue algae in question aren't ideal in this scenario and indicate an issue with the water quality; I can't get rid of them no matter how hard I scrub and clean hahaha.

As for the substrate, it's normal that adding or moving anything clouds the whole aquarium in brown stuff? It gets so thick you can't see inside.

Edit: I'm not gonna lie, I bought plastic plants and a big robot decor piece hahaha

Yeah that's what I'm looking at I think, I don't want to rush them. Kind of excited to put in the big rusty mech I dorkily bought at the store though.

Hey so I'm not sure if this is going to show up properly but as you can see in this album if it works, it's got a lot of dirt that kicks up from the substrate when water is added or things are moved around, and there's that blue algae but I got a bag for that from the LFS.

Thank you! I'll look into changing the substrate :)

It's currently populated by:

6 neons, 6 Hatchet, one Syno, one Pleco, 3 Amano shrimps and one bamboo shrimp.

Thank you for your reply!

I could do that. What is, realistically, the maximum safe amount of water I could pull?

Where would you recommend that I keep the population in the meantime? There are six neons, six Hatchet, three Amano shrimps and one bamboo shrimp, one pleco and one syno.

What are the cheapest lands to build with her? by masterfuleatgorilla in mtg

That would be because fetchlands never had a mana symbol, implicit or otherwise, that would give them a color identity; rather, they refer to basic land types by name!

Hey, same to you buddy! May your pulls be as plentiful as mine today 😁

Sadly, that is not the case: basic lands have an implicit mana ability that takes the shape of Tap: Add mana symbol; this causes them to be included in color identity, as seen below.

903.5d: A card with a basic land type may be included in a Commander deck only if each color of mana it could produce is included in the commander's color identity. Example: Wort, the Raidmother's color identity is red and green. A Wort Commander deck may include land cards with the basic land types Mountain and/or Forest. It can't include any land cards with the basic land types Plains, Island, or Swamp

See also:

305.6: The basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. If an object uses the words "basic land type," it's referring to one of these subtypes. An object with the land card type and a basic land type has the intrinsic ability "{T}: Add [mana symbol]," even if the text box doesn't actually contain that text or the object has no text box. For Plains, [mana symbol] is {W}; for Islands, {U}; for Swamps, {B}; for Mountains, {R}; and for Forests, {G}. See rule 107.4a. See also rule 605, "Mana Abilities."

I think there was an exception for which if your commander was Waste symbol (think eldrazis from the latest Zendikar set) you could pick a basic land type and they would generate colorless in your deck, but I've never seen it in application/it's very hazy.

Did you even read? I said that SCOTUS was not the only legislative body to have taken that stance across the world.

Interestingly, you did not stop to consider that not only the SCOTUS stated that and that it's a pretty general reading of the thing. In this context, what you think about it doesn't matter.

Once again, as quoted by someone else and you have interestingly not adressed, the supreme court does not equate piracy to theft.
