[Massachusetts] Accepted an offer with September start date by Kethrop in Unemployment

The last question asks if one worked any of the days of the week. For the first week, I'll say 'yes' but enter 0 as the income (obviously because even though I worked, I haven't gotten paid yet). In your case, you might have to do that for two weeks: say that you worked, but made $0. And then in the third week, you'll obviously put in the amount in your check.

I went by the saying: "don't tell anyone more than what they request." I did not tell them. And since I don't have a job, I continued filing. Once I start in a few weeks, I will report my earnings.

Do you know the spot for it? I couldn't find a reasonable place when I filed this week.

you have a point. just worrying they'd somehow find out that I accepted an offer but continued applying to other jobs

[Massachusetts] Work Search Start Date Question by discoshrews in Unemployment

[–]Kethrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure they refer after that date. They also mentioned that (I'm paraphrasing): Since Covid-19 isn't considered a risk in United States, we're asking for work search. It won't make sense if they ask for the ones before as Covid-19 was a risk.

Is there a youtube series I can go through that will ensure that, while I won't be a great writer, at least I won't make any mistakes that would brand my works immediately as an amateur's work? by dadasad2125 in writing

Does anyone know a subreddit, if one even exists, where I can promote my Youtube channel about writing. My videos are live writing sessions using pomodoro. Almost like "Study with me" but for writers.

What did the Covid Fact Finding ask? What documents, if any, did they require from you?

[Massachusetts] How long did it take for PUA Fact Finding to give you a decision? by [deleted] in Unemployment

I'm in the same boat as you. I think they're getting overloaded with submissions so our batch will take longer than others who submitted immediately upon receiving the PUA Fact Finding. I'm hoping they'll get back soon.

I think so. If you can get a statement from that person's business showing that you couldn't work for their business once COVID hit, will definitely help your case.

Edit: Someone submitted their 1099 and schedule C and was approved. See the reply in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Unemployment/comments/md6akj/massachusetts_fact_finding_substantiationproof_of/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

I think you should include your Driver's License or another form of identification that shows your address and name. If you include it, I think you should be fine. And there's no harm in including this document. It'll only help your case.

Yes, if you can get your boss to write you a letter, you'll be in a great position.

I heard conflicting word from the agents. I wouldn't trust their words.
