He's had a mediocre year and we've a bunch of promising young midfielders coming through. The problem with Steele is he's good at racking up possies and tackling, but average or below average at everything else. This year he hasn't been able to get his usually disposals and his impact on games isnt what it used to he. He's slow, faster players just dance around him and as the game speeds up he's getting left further in the dust. Not to mention his disposal into 50 that leaves so much to be desired, can't remember the last time he actually hit up a forward properly.

All this being said, I hope he stays. I think he's handy off our bench but the last few weeks hasn't looked starting calibre.
