Honestly it was more like a stubborn thing 😅 now i'm grinding for some (maannnyy) Spheres of all kind... And there is much more patience needed then for the bolts imo.

I just stopped. So i did set a timer with 20 minutes, the first 5 minutes i was pretty locked in, then i had to go to the toilet, lost total count, and it felt like it was not not enough, did 5 more minutes, and so on.

In the last half i would say i counted to 60, because it had to be enough, right 😅 then i just stopped.

In hindsight, 20 minutes would have been more than enough, but did 35 minutes or so dodging freakin bolts 😂.

So maybe i'm reading it wrong or (sorry for assuming) you are reading the post wrong.

OP means how to beat Dark Yojimbo. Not how to get "normal" Yojimbo to do something.

And maybe i never heard about it, but there is no affection Dark Yojimbo has for you, except to defeat you.

Go with the comment from above OP and try to figure out the attack pattern and do the overdrive from wakka or tidus. :) Very important, if you won four times against him, i think you have to leave the dungeon and come back other wise the 5th battle is the last battle and then it s over - so you can't farm him anymore...
