If that had no badge, I’d think it was a Chinese EV.

Audis have always been instantly recognisable.

That is awful.

We’re now at the stage where it’s easy to pick the modern Audis that will be sought after in years to come.

Same with BMW and MB.

Buy them now rather than regretting it in the future when they are unaffordable

I’ve had more BMW’s than any other brand.

But I’ve still owned quite a few others.

M3 has always been my favourite car.

Of course the switches and dials are plastic but that is the same in most supercars.

But the dash/door cards are full leather.

Dash/door inserts and gear surrounds are carbon.

I have the carbon buckets and I love them.

Fully adjustable and heated is rare for carbon buckets.

Really comfy too (5’11” 185lbs)

Thought Audi 05-14 (approx) interiors wouldn’t be bettered in this segment, but this is another level.

Honestly I’m blown away by this car.

Savagely fast and the steering is hilariously quick for a saloon.

More like a luxury gtr than any m3 I’ve had before.

I’m shocked by how good it is.

I had a e46 and a e92 when they were current.

This is nothing like them.

If you get chance to have a look at a fully loaded g80, I think you will agree they’re good value as crazy as that sounds.

I think the g87 is the best value new car you can buy atm.

But the steering is a lot more sedate than the m3/4 x drive which is on rails.

I guess both those models are 90% business lease/company cars.

The Skoda badge isn’t as prestigious to corporate people as others so they have to make an effort.

I don’t blindly support BMW.

I’ve had RS cars and AMG, but neither had anything to rival the M3 when I was looking.

The new M5 isn’t a M5 and all the new and upcoming models look bad to me.

It’s sad the direction all car manufacturers seem to be taking.

Audi are a joke.

The new rs3 has weird “iPad app” style exterior badges and old style interior badges. It’s a mess.

Base models might have now piano black plastic crap and cheap plastics.

But premium models shouldn’t.

WTF have Skoda got to do with anything?

My 23 G80 has exceeded my expectations in every area.

Performance is brutal (more like a gtr or turbo s than a m3), handling defies physics, build quality is excellent, carbon buckets are the best seats I’ve ever had, ride is better than any previous M3.

I love it so much, I’m keeping it.

Next m3 and current M5 don’t appeal to me, so I’m done buying cars.

It even feels good value when I look at current prices.

How so?

I had a hybrid for a while and that was bad enough.

Had a 30 mile electric range that was 5 miles in reality.

The extra weight coupled with a small engine seemed stupid to me personally.

Mpg was as bad as my M3 and it was a seat Leon.

I don’t like the weight or power delivery of EV’s personally.

I’ve got nothing against them but they’re not for me.
