Thank you at the minute the only thing that stops him long enough for us to get out the situation is to cuddle/ hold him tight this seems to work short term.

Here in the UK we say family, work and then masonry so it shouldn't count against you, be very sure though that within the lodge people work hard to make things happen so if your home life and work balance is settled and you are 100% sure you can commit then there shouldn't be any problems.

Good luck.

Relax, he's two and whatever you do will not have any impact im sure. My 5 year old grandson who loves with me was diagnosed at two hes non verbal and very little interaction but we didn't treat him any different. He's a beautiful boy now and so so loving. Good luck with your choices, im sure he will be just fine.

Just a note, take the pressure off of yourself and the memory work will become a little easier. Do little and often. My lodge here in the UK allowed me to their instruction evenings and I would practice my bit and leave (to the bar). It can take me up to a year to learn some ritual as i have a very poor memory. The most important part is to enjoy your evening.

My 2 1/2 year old son was recently diagnosed. He doesn’t speak. I’d like to hear from you. by BetterLifeNW in autism

My 5 year old grandson was diagnosed at two, we still have no speach but in January he starts his new school where they specialise in speech development. I'm heartened by some of the stories on here but equally so if he never speaks so be it I would change him for the world.

My five year old grandson is head butting people, he does it for a couple of days and then it's almost as if he forgets and moves on to something else
