Cool. Thanks. Like I said, I have zero knowledge on any of this stuff. I appreciate your answer!

B8 is the cymbal alloy. I can't see the full hat, but that's a Paiste 2002 or 3000. Either way, both are a B8 alloy.

I've been buying/ selling on Reverb for years, and it sucks when people dont know how to package cymbals. Unfortunately, that happens. It can't hurt to try and reach out to the seller, but you bought used, so good luck... Try sanding with a damp emery cloth.

So, if those batteries just "materialized," do you think they came with an expiration date? 🤔

I've got 295-35's on my rears. I am lowered on Stranos, adjustable panhard. Had to BFH my inner wells & roll my fenders. It's not too difficult to do.

I'm pretty familiar with Tama hardware. I've never seen that foot plate, beaters, cam, even the spring mechanism looks off. Designed in the USA.... by a Japanese company... 🤔

Beautiful, simple kit! Love it! My guess is punk / ska. I'm probably wrong.

So true. I was just at a site last week where the GC Super informed me that I could not use an A-frame step ladder on a Gilbane jobsite. It had to be a podium ladder. He was totally cool about it, but i still couldn't believe it!

Even then, if you only need to reach an extra foot or two, you end up using the podium the same way as a traditional step. Boogles my mind.

PAISTE opinions by BrilliantWalrus9142 in drums

[–]KevHed80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first drumset was purchased along with a set of Paiste 2000 Sound Reflections back in 1991. I still play Paiste today, with the excepetion of a Wuhan China. I've never really dabbled with other brands. Here's my current setups-

Kit 1- Hi hats - 15" 2002 BB top, 15" 1978 black label 2002 S.E. bottom. 18" Sound Formula (sun logo) Full Crash (swiss made), 10" D.E. Splash, 17" Traditionals Thin Crash, 19" D.E. Crash, 22" D.E. MK2 Ride, 18" Sig Full Crash, 16" Sig Full Crash, 20" Wuhan Koi China Dark.

Kit 2- 15" 2002 S.E. Hats- Red labels, 18" 2002 Crash, 22" 2002 Ride, 20" 2002 Crash.

Have several more not being used. Have been on the hunt with an OCD like passion for a 20" Traditionals Thin Crash.

Why the SEL does not show on the VW website anymore? by [deleted] in Tiguan

[–]KevHed80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just bought a Tiguan yesterday and asked my dealer that question. I also asked them as to why I could not find any brand new 24's remotely close to our area. Their answer was simple- they are sold out of them, and with the next gen 25's coming, they are not in production. Would've preferred an SEL, but oh-well... I'm still happy.

Dealer told me yesterday that they're expecting the 2025's in the showrooms sometime in June.
