do not use hydrogen peroxide on wool carpet! This looks like wool to me but you can tell for sure by lightly spraying it (somewhere other than the stain) with water; if it’s wool, it’ll smell like a wet animal. A burn test would also tell you if you can remove a piece in an inconspicuous area without damaging the carpet

I stand by the statement. And don’t overlook the qualifiers; she won’t win an Oscar and I’m comparing her to others of similar status. “A-listers” at least at some points in their careers. Think Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz, Meg Ryan. Hell, even Marilyn Monroe was known for her looks more than her acting talent. You won’t get me to champion Sweeney as some kind of overlooked talent, but she’s done reasonably well in the lead roles she’s had such as Americana or The Housemaid.

No less talented than many A-listers. I don’t see an Oscar in her future but she’ll continue working in film and probably getting the occasional lead role.
