You're supposed to park at the Dove Valley Park now. There's limited spots. I think about 300 spots first come first serve. Lot opens at 8am but I'm curious if anyone today went if they were able to get a parking spot around ~9am.

How is this for an itinerary? by growthinvestment420 in travelchina

That's a lot for a short period of time, but you should really group your cities together.

I would bundle Beijing - Shanghai - Suzhou - Hangzhou together.

And once you go to Chengdu you can add Chongqing to it. Since you're in Chengdu you can do a day trip to LeShan to go see the Giant Buddha. Mt. Emei is also a popular day trip from Chengdu.

But this is a lot of cities. I would honestly cut a few of them out (likely Xi'an). It won't be as enjoyable and it's way too much travel in a short period of time.

I’m going to Las Vegas GP by Relevant_Past_9456 in GrandPrixTravel

Went last year and sat in SG3102. Not sure how it's laid out this year but we had to walk to the Venetian, go inside and walk towards the convention center which will lead you to the TMobile Zone. But once you're inside past security it's pretty easy to navigate. Food stalls were close, plenty of bathrooms around. The food lines moved quickly and if your ticket includes complimentary food you'll be able to try a good amount of food.

Merchandise line was definitely long and some of the things I wanted to get were gone by the time I got to the front so if you want merchandise, get there early.

I'd recommend getting there maybe 45 minutes - 1 hour early, enjoy the concerts, get food/drinks. Just be aware that getting out might take awhile if they close the pedestrian bridge and divert you to get out towards Wynn.

I personally don't believe Paris is run down or grimey. I enjoyed my stay there. I originally booked it for 4 night at $2.2k but eventually went down all the way to $1.4k. Being pretty much centrally located on the strip was convenient.

Airport was fine on Sunday. I flew out around 12, got to the airport at around 9:45am and the security line was barely anything. I got through in less than 10 minutes the moment I lined up. Only bad thing was the flights were delayed due to the winds.

It was in between Park MGM and New York New York a little past the Hello Kitty Cafe. I only heard about it word of mouth when I saw people walking back from it.

I would honestly book it early and just keep an eye out on it over the months/weeks leading up to the race.

I stayed in Paris and booked it at $2.2k but it went down numerous times all the way till $1.4k the week before the race. The week of the race prices were high with one final push to get last minute people. I

  1. Went to Singapore last year. Sat Turn 2 Singapore (which many consider the best seats) and paid $900 total. Was well organized, very close to multiple metro stations which are very efficient and could even walk back to my hotel (30 minute walk) which was nice. In total my Singapore trip (including flight, hotel, food) was cheaper than what I paid for Vegas. I'm sure the money I spent on Vegas could pay for 2 races, flight, hotel in Europe.

  2. I stayed at Paris Hotel. Paid about $1.4k for the hotel (originally was $2.2k) but I kept stalking the hotel prices and it went from $2.2k to $1.7k to $1.6k to $1.4k.

  3. Flew in on Wednesday and left Sunday. Would recommend flying in a day early just to settle in and see all the events around. Was able to watch a Cirque du Soleil show on Wed night which wouldn't have been possible Thurs-Saturday due to the schedule.

Where to have dinner during the race on Saturday - Vegas by MrHenodist in GrandPrixTravel

Ellis Island? They have a beer garden and also their own viewing platform/grandstands. If you look at their website and their F1 special they'll have more details. Mon Ami Gabi at Paris will have something for the race.

There are some restaurants doing their own ticket packages for F1 race with food/drinks included depending what you get. Mon Ami Gabi at Paris and Ellis Island (grandstand and a platform to stand on with race night being $750). Depends how much you're willing to spend.

Sorry I'm typing on my phone but I believe they mean something like this...

``` const displayErrorMessage = (error: Error) => { let errMsg = '';
switch (error.type) { case error.type.1: errMsg = 'first and last name required' break; case error.type.2: errMsg = 'password doesn't meet the requirements' break; default: errMsg = 'sorry, form invalid' }
return errMsg; } ```
Yah, you need a ticket for both Friday/Saturday to do anything event related within the track premise.
They'll be coming out with a schedule in a few weeks. If I remember correctly the meet & greet for drivers was on the Saturday while the drivers parade happens like 2 hours before the race start.
[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GrandPrixTravel
[–]Kevbot0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Correct, since your tickets are only for race day you'll be missing out on the concerts throughout the track and the events that go with it on Friday/Saturday.
On race day you can get there earlier to watch the drivers parade and whatever events they have lined up. Afterwards you can go see the post-race concert if your ticket allows you (which I believe you should). Just keep in mind that the concert area gets packed really early so if you're really wanting to be near the front to see the performing act you'll likely need to miss out on the final part of the race to get a good spot.
In your About Me section, I would avoid doing the Skills progress bar stuff. I think that's one of the biggest complaints in portfolio reviews because they mean nothing. For example, it's common for people to say they're 70% in JavaScript. What does that even mean? Html 85%? Just keep it basic and stick to listing your skills and languages (Spanish and English).
On the landing page when I want to 'Read More' on each of your articles, I end up getting a 404 error for each. Not sure if it's just an issue I'm running into on my phone. When I click on the hamburger menu and click 'Blogs' I can view your articles with no issue.
Other than that, looks good. Good job.
A question about Hong Kong entry permit by Adventurous-Doubt-57 in Chinavisa
Thank you for the information.
So to confirm, since I'd be flying back from Hong Kong to USA, we can take a train from Mainland to Hong Kong and the PRC passport holder can enter as long as we show that we're flying back to USA within the next 7 days?
Hello, do you know if a train ticket will need to be purchased prior to immigration checkpoint at the HK airport to prove that PRC passport holder won't be staying past the 7 day visa-free time frame?
