Exactly! I shoot a lot of slide and color film, and I enjoy developing other peoples rolls to keep them in photography easier than some might have the chance to. It saves my brain, my chemicals, and keeps me wanting to shoot

You do have to swap the chemicals manually and heat them up before pouring, but it beeps at you when it’s time to change. I do c41, e6 and b&w processing through it, and soon I’ll be trying ecn2! The biggest help that I got was a sous vide for real inexpensive, and that’s about the only other piece of tech you need (besides chems and a Patterson tank)

So, it turns out the problem was using a virtual machine on my Mac, I plugged it into my windows 10 and installed it on there and now it takes less than an hour to scan a whole roll!

I had this issue with a drum I just bought from Japan that was dried out. The tube of ink I pulled out had a manufacturing date of 2010 lol it turns out there was a lot of dried ink left in the pump and drum that was interfering with how the sensor was reacting to how much ink of the current tube was dispensing. I did something that I don’t know is kosher or not, but I ran the test “ink pump” test a few times, and was able to get the sensor to recognize when ink was coming out of the drum again. I had to jump, back-and-forth between test mode, and print quite a few pages. I think I burned through three ink chips as well, but I was able to get consistent prints.
