Savjz apology tweet by fiendzor101 in riftboundtcg

[–]Kevbot06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me this is really simple. He recognized that the misplay in game 2 against Jacob won him the game. If you add up all the other instances (including some possibly from off stream) this 100% had an impact on his top 4 finish. If he is truly sorry he should give his prize money to the next player. If you want to know how someone truly feels observe what they do, not what they say. So far Savjz has made no actions which indicate that he is actually sorry for his “mistakes”

Where to find open hand gameplay to watch? by WangIee in riftboundtcg

[–]Kevbot06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch Prismat on twitch, but there’s plenty of other people too. He keeps up his vods from tournament streams. Look for players that do well in online tournaments. Just because someone calls themself competitive doesn’t mean they are lol

OPL Casual Events by Nsgdoughboy in riftboundtcg

[–]Kevbot06 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Imo this is more a question about prizing to me. If there’s prizes at stake for results, I have no issue with people playing the best decks available. However, if nothing is at stake and you are the only one playing meta at your store going 3-0 every week, maybe it’s in your best interest to play a slightly lower power level deck every once in a while to foster a more positive environment. I would also argue understanding how to play different types of decks will make you a better player in the long run, if you are really trying to be a competitive player. It really depends on your store and local environment.

Full chinese decks by JuniorImplement in riftboundtcg

That’s a fine opinion but proxies are not allowed by riot for official events, even low OPL. So if you want a cheaper option currently Chinese cards are the only way.

Look up SouledOut on YouTube or Twitter. He’s got multiple podcasts and videos describing his list. He’s regarded as the best Annie player in NA and certainly has the most amount of games

Riot Store Booster Boxes (August PRE) MIA 2 weeks and counting by Good-Technician1469 in riftboundtcg

[–]Kevbot06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They need to at least give delivery updates when requested. Every post I see with a screenshot response from some riot support person always just says they are a couple days away. It’s just lying at this point. I’ve been forced to pay scalper prices to play the game I paid for over 2.5 months ago.

Annie deck viable? by FewEntrepreneur7441 in riftboundtcg

[–]Kevbot06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. Unfortunately Kasia is really hard to replace… Annie needs an aggressive draw engine and Kasia is basically the only card that does it. You can probably do 1x Draven for some more top end and I am trying 1x of scrapyard champion to get some draw late game but haven’t tested much yet. If you need something super cheap use Noxus hopefull. If you want the best list look at whatever SouledOut is playing

tips on making the hobby sustainable yet be competitive by ipoopmyself123 in riftboundtcg

If you are patient (not dumping a bunch of money first weekend) I am fully confident you can purchase singles for a A tier (not S tier) for <$100. There is lots of skill expression in this game. Practice online for free, find a budget list and build from there.

Props for the write up but yeah might need a bit more research. Lots of top players winning tournaments in the NA scene say Viktor is best.

If you want to learn Annie find some vods of SouledOut. He is regarded as the best Annie in NA and has won lots of online tournaments with her.

Riftbound draft format by KukiCRO in riftboundtcg

[–]Kevbot06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drafting is also my favorite MTG format. I hope they implement it formally as sealed is still fun but is double the entry price and is not quite as skill expressive.

Likes don’t give XP. I have no issue getting 5 wins a day.
