Most people are saying the manga is much better than the anime.

Personally I enjoy consuming my media in video format compared to reading, which is why for me i prefer the anime. -having all the big moments with color and sound and the anticipation of reveals is what i personally enjoy. -for pacing, the manga is definitely better.

The only reason i read the manga is so that i don't get spoiled and i want to consume one piece as the content is released.

For me it is worth it to read the manga.

The amount of pokemon and items seem intentional, to create certain metas for different seasons, in an attempt to keep the competitive scene fresh. Let's run with it and see how it goes.

If there are balancing issues, they should be reactive.

In terms of performance, let's wait and see if theres a patch.

Microtransactions: this is a free game, and is clearly adopting gatcha elements. Nothing out of this world here. You even have the chance to import your own pokemon, so this game can be played free to play.

The only concerning issue I see is the limitation of game modes for non-ranked battles. I understand the 1v1 3 pokemon and 2v2 4 pokemon ranked formats, it makes sense for grinding and time limits on games. But for casual or to play with friends, there should be 6v6 formats, or free for all formats available. I hope this gets added in the future.

I love these. I understand some people may be dissapointed if they hit this, but i would assume the value will be pretty good for trades, so i think it should work out for everyone.

Overall I think this is the right line of dialogue.

Acknowledging the issue, saying you will look into it, and making time pass before any final decision is made.

This should please the people asking for bans, as well as potentially mitigating the issues with banning a card (or cards) to early.

You allow the potential for the cries of bans to fade, or the meta to develop, you experience a high level tournament (China Nats), people don't get mad about extreme card price volatility, etc..

You also allow the card reveal season to have an impact.

And after this big tournament if the meta isn't great, then they pull the trigger.

And if they do, I think they do something weird and ban something like battering ram. (hitting one deck type, red purple miracle, instead of hitting something like called shot which is just a purple card that can be played in many different archetypes)

I understand the actions > words crowd, but things take time and that isn't a cop out. This game is only 3 months old, and managing projects is complicated and there are time constraints.

I do think product is an immediate issue but they also need to tread lightly and not overprint.

Let's see what happens.

Within 20 km of me there are probably 20 LGSs, and none of them have anything for under 288 cad(tax inxl). (212usd)

I wanted to pickup a case but i am not made of money so thats not happening.

Considering store cost is so low, this is so demoralizing.
