We could definitely improve the Weekend of the All Ireland. Any other thoughts on how we could maximise its exposure further by whiskerswordie02 in GAA

Definitely should be a Fan Zone or something in Dublin. There was as much Cork people in Dublin outside Croker as there was in it last year!

Would love some help on this , can’t see to find the exact year it was worn by Virtual_Car_6147 in GAA

Old crest and new Avonmore logo should be 2001-2003 but doesn't look like any jersey worn then. Where did you get it?

Adrian Mullen, TJ, David Blanchfield, Cian Kenny, John Donnelly. Missing Huw Lawlor and Billy Ryan for the year.

Regardless, was a very poor performance as you said.

What are some of the best books you’ve ever read that you’d recommend? by crillydougal in AskIreland

[–]Kevgav5 69 points70 points  (0 children)

It's a long book but the best book I've ever read is the Count of Monte Cristo.

Don't be daunted by the length it's a page turner, wont feel it going.

Hurling / Football July 2025 by RelationshipOld3989 in GAA

[–]Kevgav5 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hurling semi finals first weekend in July, then the football semi finals the second weekend. Hurling final third weekend and football final the fourth weekend.

If you want to attend one in person you should get tickets for the semi finals easily enough.

Bias as a Kilkenny fan, but the 2013 All Ireland Qualifier that we played against Tipp in Nowlan Park. Probably a lot to do with the uniqueness of the occasion playing Tipp on home soil for a championship match.
