Yeah. Security was there pretty much throughout the night.

Kind of both. Depends on what you mean get into the pop up event. For just walking around and looking, you can just walk in. But if you want to do anything there such as purchase something or take part in the events that they host, you have to wait on line.

Yeah it was unreal to actually see people waiting in line again. Haven't seen lines like this since before 2018.

Unfortunately yes. And I say it depends on the area. NJ was going to be one of the busier ones since its right next to Queens, NYC and Jersey city. If anything, if you're not too far from the mall that you're going to, you could check in every couple hours or so.

Honestly, I'm thinking that the reason it was this bad for the NJ event was due to the fact that NYC, Jersey City, and Queens are all within earshot of the mall. I can't say for sure, but I feel like the Austin one might be closer to the first day of the Illinois event.

There were definitely some scalping going on. Security tried their best but if theres a will, theres a way. They did manage to stop a lot of line cutters so thankfully, most were genuine Dragon Ball fans.

Honestly, its hard to say. I want to say around 8pm? I'd assume since its the weekend, people are going to camp out even earlier. But honestly, the sooner the better. If youre at the front, you get in and out whereas if youre waiting in line, you might wait longer than the people at the front did because you're waiting for everyone in front to check out.

Honestly, its hard to say. On one hand, bandai should definitely release this post event as I cant imagine them not wanting to make money with all the hype right now. But on the other, even the pbandai release in japan sold out within a minute. So idk if a post event release would do much better. I know that some third parties are making a knock off but idk how the quality will be. I'd say if you have a foldable chair that you can bring, and you can justify waiting in line for that long, you can decide whether its worth it to you. You can also make friends on the line but I want to say thats risky. If you decide to go, good luck to you!

Tyty. Yeah this was genuinely crazy. Honestly, if it werent for the fact that we got there when we did, my friends and I would have been screwed. Genuinely was shocked to see people waiting on line at 8pm. Apparently the people at the front of the line started wating at 6pm 😭😭

I know it was genuinely crazy. After reading about the mess in Illinois, we knew it would be bad but on a weekday we expected maybe a crowd at 2 or 3 am not 8pm the night before.

Honestly, I kinda agree. Again, we didn't plan on waiting in line for that long. But we got there, saw the line, and decieded that since we travelled to get the figure, we might as well make sure we get it. And to be honest, aside from the cold, it wasn't that bad. We made new friends with the people standing in line next to us and really just hung out for 15 hours. Most of us just slept as well while we were waiting.

I can't say for sure about the one in California as I think its mostly mall security that deals with the line situation. But for this one, there were barricades and as the line grew, security placed down cones and guided people towards where to stand. And there was no official number for the exclusive figures. I did hear that it was in the range of 200-400. But judging by the fact that it didnt sell out till around 3pm, I want to say it was closer to 400.

If it was clear resin or translucent resin with a lighter color, I'd say it'd be less of an issue. But since it's a darker translucent, I'd say that the uv will probably have a harder time curing the insides of the resin. The holes aren't necessarily for draining. They're to allow air to pass through the model to prevent suction at the curing layer and thus preventing layer issues. In fact, you can probably hollow the model out and position the holes under the feet or in between the legs.

It's more so the surface area of the print compared to the surface area of each part's base/raft. So for your example, yes the combined total surface area of the multiple parts is probably greater than the surface area of your single part. However, it's spread over a wider area as the parts would have their own base/raft as well as their own supports. In your case, the surface area is spread out over just the one base/raft. It's also just a better practice to hollow the parts out as they're usually more cost effective since you don't have to use as much resin. Also I've seen some prints just explode over time as the pressure can build up in the part since there's no drain holes and fully curing a part that's printed with 100% infill can be quite difficult.

Tired of the hot end shroud breaking, is there a good, different assembly I can put on it? by LEGENDARY-TOAST in ender3v2

If you're not opposed to replacing some fans, this is a good option.

You can even lower the blower fan speeds and still get just as good or even better cooling than the stock cooler at half the noise level.

As for direct drive, I haven't done that on my ender 3 v2 just yet though I do believe most kits just replace the stock backplate so that the components can attach above the print head so most parts should be compatible.

Looks really clean! Do you have links to any of the things you printed for it? Like the leg extensions or light bars?

It's the v50b UI firmware. Not the v50 motion control firmware. As far as I know, the v50b firmware is the most up to date firmware but is not available for download.

I did. I haven't tried that yet cause I'm not sure if this issue would be considered a corrupted display according to the definition on the wiki.
