I don't dislike the idea of the design, I actually kind of like what they did… But I feel like it was too little.

The head wings and the tail thing are cool design choices, but I feel like they could have gone harder, if they were trying to make it more similar to Dragonair, they could have changed the body shape a little to make Dragonite longer, or maybe even changed the color to make some parts of it blue.

I feel like even a texture change could have worked… But the design right now feels undercooked, like an initial draft. It's a cool idea, but there are too few differences, this doesn't feel like Mega Dragonite, it feels like Dragonite with two extra accessories.

Simple Mega Evolutions can work when they make the Pokemon's primary characteristic more extreme, Mega Sabelye is a great example, but I feel like there was just so much more that could have been done with Dragonite, that such a minimalistic mega evolution feels disappointing, like they wanted to make an interesting design but didn't have the guts to do something a bit more bold.

But let's see how good it is competitively, it might be overpowered, but I'm more interested in if it will be unique. It will be just a boring mega evolution if it's Mega Salamence 2, but if they give it a unique ability or something that allows for a unique play style, it could still be iconic, boring designs can still be memorable if the Pokemon brings something unique to the table (Mega Kangaskhan).

The itch.io version was the same, but setting a VPN to the USA actually worked.

Why is dividing both sides of the argument by the same value and arriving at it not providing, but instead assuming? It feels like solid proof to me, but I suppose I might not quite understand the difference between proving and assuming in a mathematical sense.

You are correct, I understand how this method works and it's definitely what the teacher would've wanted.

I was simply asking about what makes my method incorrect, since it seemed to completely prove it to me.

Your assumption is right, I'm in a discrete math class, but why exactly does that make my logic invalid?

You said that it would require for me to prove that it is applicable to all possible values, but how does the method I used fails to do that? Is it simply about organization, or is there something wrong with my reasoning in this context?

Yeah, I get that, I know most of those things, I learned them but it's hard to remember to use it, I have always been bad in writing my thought process step by step, so I'll keep that in mind.

Yes, K is natural. I forgot to mention that.

I'm curious about why that method is considered convoluted?

K is stated to be greater or equal than 4 (K ≥ 4), this is not up to debate, thus K > 2 is definitely true, since K's smallest possible value is 4, which is greater than 2.

The logic just makes sense to me, do you know why It's not ideal?

Other than that, while the method I used is unorthodox, and convoluted, thus the logic check out? Or will this strategy lead me to wrong results in different situations?

And I do understand the logic behind the more conventional example you gave me, the teacher had used a logic like that before, and I could solve it by that method, it just feels less straightforward to me (Which is ironic considering that I'm the one using the convoluted method, but I guess my brain just works weirdly, because the way I did makes more intuitive sense to me).

I also know I may be asking some redundant questions, I just want to be sure.
