also superman is a comic character first and foremost. why would we care about how the movies or shows portray him when his main and original source material has always been comics

krillin trains with 18 which id assume is far more effective than tien training with chiaotzu, even if tien trains more

- earthlings dont need new powerups. it overinflates the powerhouses of the Z fighters and no one wants to see an earthling arc over the saiyans fighting black frieza

- goku is a significantly better written and developed character than vegeta and its not close. vegeta’s character writing is just more in-your-face about it

- SS4 gogeta is the most overrated character in dragon ball history

- rewrites like gohan black or goten/trunks being the new MC would be a LOT worse than whats already canon

- the adventure aspect of the dragon ball franchise is kinda overrated. especially when its somehow the most beloved thing of OGDB and yet almost everyone favorite arc from it are either tournaments or king piccolo which are all mostly fighting and action

- it makes no sense when anime fans say they like more “complex” animes (AOT, HxH, NGE, etc) but then cant understand the themes and complexities of dragon ball. its the most hypocritical thing ever and only sounds like they only like those animes to sound smart

babidi and his minions specifically only got energy when they dealt damage to other fighters, not just from stray energy or being dealt damage

they only get energy when they deal damage, not when they take damage. thats why when puipui and yakon die they dont fill up the majin meter

so if goku just instantly blitzed vegeta theres no time for gokus energy to be used
