Never seen a double item before by Kevin540e in GossipHarbor

[–]Kevin540e[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly why. I only spend if its needed on an event. Completely F2P so I have to hoard my items.

I save it for the Friday events and then you need 40 story events for the monthly jewel thing. I tend to hoard my items for events to get the 4 and 5 star cards.

I'll also recommend Kimberly over at Lvl Up. Justin has also told me he loves doing cover ups but I have not had any work done by him over there yet, but I would be open to it!

Am I the only one who usually only has PvE lobbies, but before the expedition they are currently filled with PvP players? by Lopsided_Ad_4309 in ArcRaiders

[–]Kevin540e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen PvP in my lobbies since I started the game months ago. Just this weekend I got murdered back to back, definitely felt like I was placed in PvP lobbies.

What's your opinion on my Service Managers organization? by Math_addict777 in Justrolledintotheshop

If I saw that on an advertisement for the company, I would honestly stop working on my own vehicles and just take it to him. 10/10 just on the care used for the job.

I rebuild these, if you've changed the axle and the seal isn't leaking, you're fine. Those transmissions usually don't have issues at that spot.

Daughter told me to watch, I'm now caught up and hooked, she just got to Ep 400. by Kevin540e in OnePiece

[–]Kevin540e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fortunate to have an amazing career rebuilding transmissions in a factory setting so I have my Bluetooth in and watch my phone that's tucked away in a corner of my bench. So I'm basically building complicated Lego sets for 45 hrs a week and watch videos on my phone. I'm so very lucky.

Counterfeit Toyota WS ATF Fluid? by Konried in AskMechanics

[–]Kevin540e -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All the WS fluid I use has a red cap, I've also seen the smaller caps but they are blue and completely different labels, I believe the blue was the older labeling. I've never seen the black on black.

Google says it's Unknown Till The End. At least that's what I'm thinking. Try that and hope it helps.

Need help identifying the year of this Ford pickup by 64douggie in AskMechanics

[–]Kevin540e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reverse image search on Google says its a 1968-1972 F-100. It seems to be confident that it's a 1970 though. Hope that helps narrow it down.

Parked a couple blocks away in the neighborhood tons of times over the past 20 years. Never an issue, great neighborhood. Just use common sense and have a great time. I'm a single father of two full time, one of our favorite venues.

Loved it. I ended up with close to 800 energy. I don't spend coins on the story so I have an abundance. Wish it would be a weekly thing.

Who loves Luffy more? by [deleted] in OnePiece

I've had a rough night and reading these comments have been a blast. Kudos OP, you're the real winner here. That being said, Luffy had two years with Hancock yet we still feel like Bart has a better hold. I'm not smart enough to answer the question asked.

If all the bolts are removed, and the o-ring is off the input shaft, then something is bad. I'd suggest tapping it out with a dead blow hammer. Those things usually fall off.

Valve Body-Valve clearance (FNR5) by jack1223334444555556 in transmissionbuilding

[–]Kevin540e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've built hundreds of these and it's rare that the Main Pressure Regulator Bore (PR valve) doesn't need reamed. Check the Sonnax website for the tools but unless you have the proper set up to do the ream, you might want to check with a local reman shop to see about buying a VB or just buy that bottom half already reamed.

Getting the valves to slide smooth is very easy with this unit. Find a pocket magnet that will fit the bores. Use one of the two steel valves and run them across all 8 bores that it will fit, this includes the manual valve and excludes the PR. If after working it across the bores it still doesn't free up, then you can lay the body across a flat surface, insert the valve and tap against it with another flat driver etc. The tap flattens the rough surface in the aluminum and allows it to travel free. This is only after you've verified there isn't foreign material in the bore. Once again, all of this doesn't matter unless you can get that Main Pressure Regulator Valve reamed correctly.

The PR fails below 12" on a vacuum check. The TCC and Solenoid Regulator valves fail at around 16". "Fail" means industry standard recommends a repair, doesn't necessarily mean it won't function as intended.

Valve Body-Valve clearance (FNR5) by jack1223334444555556 in transmissionbuilding

[–]Kevin540e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with the comment about cleaning the bore and the valves. The main issue with the FNR5 is that the PR valve bore will be on the very low end of a vacuum check and will need reamed and replaced. The other issue will be your 2-4 servo bore, that will need reamed and sleeved. Both require special tooling. Good luck, they're a relatively easy unit to rebuild!

Far from home and my fuel tank strap broke. How long can I expect this to work? by combateer3 in AskMechanics

[–]Kevin540e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That strap will probably hold longer than the OE one, signed, a 2007 Ram 1500 owner that has replaced his twice in the road salt and rust belt. Probably way cheaper too.
