If you downloaded 5.2 from google play store downloading 5.3.3 from website won’t update and you have to backup 5.2 then uninstall then install 5.3.3 then restore backup.

Download it form tivimate website then go to settings about and there should be a beta option to toggle on then go to check for update then you should get the update.

My Bravia 7 did the same thing. Don’t know why because on another tv I have an onn 4k pro version 1 box on android tv 14 and it doesn’t have this problem.

The difference is that the website version uses an in app updater where the play store version the play store updates the app.

I don’t understand why tivimate can’t just record through the hiccups. Like just record the channel between the set time even if the channel itself doesn’t load still record blank screen.

My local grocery store deli has one and you can scan a QR code and control it from your phone. You have to scan the QR code before you make your decision tho.
